At an extraordinary general meeting on Friday 8th November members present agreed that it was urgent that we seek new committee members as a matter of urgency. General volunteering in and around the club has been very positive over the last few years but we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to increase the size of our committee.
Committee meetings take place once a month and last for no more than 90 minutes. the club needs both people who are interested in taking on formal roles but we also need general members who are able to attend most monthly meetings.
You don’t need to be an ex-player and your membership may have lapsed but if you have the time and are looking for an opportunity to support the club this is a good time to have an impact and influence how the club develops over the coming years.
Current office bearers have previously notified that they will be standing down at the next AGM in January 2025 so it is increasingly important that the club are able to identify new committee members.
