I am pleased to confirm that Selkirk Cricket Club will be open for the sale of alcohol indoors and outdoors as of Thursday 20th May at 5:30pm with level 2 hospitality guidance in operation.
The club and beer garden facilities will be open to members only; we hope to relax this in the near future.
We will be operating under the Level 2 restrictions for hospitality:
- A maximum of 8 people from 8 households can meet outdoors where alcohol is permitted
- A maximum of 6 people from 3 households can meet indoors where alcohol is permitted. The indoor area must be fully closed (unless for toilet access) at 22.30hours.
- There will be table service only, this includes ordering, consumption and payment.
- Queueing indoors is not permitted.
- At this time, booking a time slot of 2 hours is required for in indoor consumption of alcohol.
- The bar, lounge and beer garden will be subject to a “maximum capacity”, the capacity in each area will be displayed at each entrance. You may therefore be refused entry or asked to move into a different area should the maximum capacity be reached. Our staff are aware not to exceed the maximum capacity so please do not be offended if entry is refused or if you are asked to move to a different area within the club.
For the safety of you and our staff, we will be operating on the social distancing rule of 1m. For your protection, sanitising stations will be provided at door entry/exits, the ladies and gents toilets, and at a number of other access points.
Face coverings must be worn when not seated.
Table service will be provided. Table service includes ordering, consumption and payment (contactless card transactions are preferred).
Test and Protect (T&P) information is mandatory and will be taken for each customer. We will be registering the dates and time you visit our club facilities and we will also take this opportunity to make sure we have all your correct contact details.
The opening hours are:
Thursdays – 5pm to 9pm
Fridays – 4pm to 10:30pm
Saturdays – 11am to 10:30pm
Sundays – 12:30pm to 9:00pm
